Foursquare Day is held every year on April 16th. The mobile application was first introduced at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, TX in March 2009. Foursquare quickly became the breakout mobile application at the conference. Currently, Foursquare has over 20 million users and partnerships with Bon Appetit, Bravo, Louis Vuitton, MTV, People Magazine, Walgreens, Zagat, etc.

We will celebrate Foursquare Day on April 16 in Schaumburg, IL at the Smashburger on Golf Road from 6pm to 8pm. There will be free 1/3 lb Classic Smashburger and a Coke for the first 50 check ins on Foursquare Day between 6pm and 8pm. Smashburger has activated a special that Foursquare users will be able to show to cashiers to redeem for this offer. All additional check ins between 6pm and 8pm that do not receive the free Classic Smashburger will receive a free side with purchase of an entrée.
