Social Media Manager

Position: Social Media Manager
Location: City of Chicago
Starts: Interviews to take place immediately
Duration: Possible Full Time
Status: Freelance/ possible Full Time
Rate: $25-40/hr DOE

We have an immediate and ongoing opportunity to work with a healthcare focused organization in the city. Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team and help develop a social media strategy relating to their marketing and corporate communications campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Social Media Manager and be a strong writer with specific experience running social media campaigns, developing social media strategic plans and working with large groups of possible contributors.

Specific responsibilities:
- Regular monitoring of social media channels and responding appropriately to comments, tweets, etc… this will include nights and weekends
- Work with marketing leads on maintaining individual Facebook pages (this is an advisory and assistance role)
- Source, triage, evaluate and schedule content for the social pages. Focus currently is Facebook, Twitter, Google+ with some minor Pinterest and Instagram involvement.
- Develop social medial strategic plans
- Begin to develop internal social media strategy utilizing new platforms within a new Intranet
- Boost posting

Paladin is a professional staffing and recruiting firm specializing in marketing, communications and creative professions.  One of our national retail clients has an immediate need for aContract to Hire Strategic Marketing Manager with Clients Services focus and with strong project management skills. 

 

Our client is launching a pilot marketing campaign to promote a new service.  Their goal is to branch out to multiple locations across the US within the next few years.  They are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing Manager to execute initial marketing and sales materials in support of the current pilot program, and to help assist in developing the marketing strategy for the larger roll-out of the program nationally. 

 

The client is seeking a Marketing Manager who has prior success developing retail marketing and communication strategy, messaging, timelines, tactics and budgets. The ideal candidate will be a driven, multi-tasker, detail-oriented who is adept at working with both internal and external clients.  This role will develop case studies, collateral material, internal communication and sales materials across multiple platforms including email, social media and print.  This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor and help launch a national campaign. 

 

Prior experience working within a national retail company is highly desired.  

 

Contract Marketing Manager (Client Services focus) 

Start Date: End of January 2013 

Location: Oakbrook, IL.  Onsite only 

Assignment duration: This is 30 to 40 hour week contract assignment for 3 months and with a great potential for a full-time conversion with the right candidate 

Hourly rate: $30 to $35 

 

Job Requirements:
